Volcano Hiking Adventure

In this 3-day volcano hiking adventure, we'll start and finish at Morioka Station. On the first day, we'll hike up and traverse across Akita Komagatake, one of the most glorious stratovolcanoes in the Towada Hachinamantai National Park. We'll spend the night in Akita at an onsen ryokan, then hike again the following day from near the summit of Mt. Hachimantai across a glorious traverse passing a number of summits before arriving at Matsukawa Onsen, where we'll spend the night. We'll take it easy on the 3rd day, and visit a number of volcanic areas to see the dynamic power of Mt. Iwate and the surrounding volcanoes.

Lodging is included for 2 nights. (Day 1 at a Nyuto Onsen Ryokan or equivalent and day 2 at Matsukawa Onsen Matsukawa-so or equivalent.) Breakfasts and dinners are included, lunches will be purchased separately, and eaten on the mountain!
